REWARD RECIPIENT PRIVACY NOTICE
Tango Card respects your privacy.
Tango Card sources and distributes Rewards to Recipients on behalf of Enterprise Customers’ loyalty and incentives programs (this is the “Service” we provide). If you have received a Reward distributed by Tango Card on behalf of a Tango Card Enterprise Customer, this Notice applies to you as a Recipient. Please read it carefully.
Scope. This Privacy Notice applies to Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) used by Tango Card to operate the Service. PII is data that can be used, alone or in conjunction with other data, to uniquely identify or contact a specific person or household. With respect to Tango Card’s Service, PII is limited to a Recipient’s name and email or postal address, and IP address.
Use. Tango Card may obtain such PII from (a) its Enterprise Customers in order to send a Reward to a Recipient, or (b) directly from a Recipient through the use of the service. We require that an Enterprise Customer who provides Tango Card with your email is doing so with your consent in accordance with applicable laws. Tango Card also receives and records information on our server logs. Tango Card uses this information: to fulfill your Reward redemption requests, to perform customer service or contact you (if necessary) and provide aggregated and anonymous reporting for Enterprise Customers.
If you desire to not receive Rewards through Tango Card (i.e., to “opt out” of future Rewards), you must convey that request to the entity that is funding the Reward (our Enterprise Customer). We have a contractual obligation to our customers to fulfill Rewards once ordered.
We use PII for internal and Service-related purposes only. Tango Card does not rent or sell PII to third parties.
Disclosure. We may disclose PII to third parties who assist us with providing the Services, including without limitation: the sending of emails, customer support, assisting us or our customer in protecting against or preventing actual or potential fraud, violations of our Recipient Terms of Service, unauthorized transactions, claims or other liabilities. Under any such disclosure, such third parties are under confidentiality obligations to us, are performing a support function directly for us, and may not use such data except to perform their support function. We may disclose PII in response to a law enforcement agency’s request or subpoena or a court order, or as otherwise required or permitted by law or consistent with legal requirements.
Preservation and Deletion. Tango Card is a licensed Money Services Business. We must preserve a legally-sufficient record of every Reward transaction we perform. We must maintain certain PII for auditing and regulatory purposes, specifically including the email address (and in some cases, the name or postal address) of the Recipient, together with the date, type and amount of the Reward. This data cannot be deleted, but it will be maintained as strictly confidential information. To the extent Tango Card has any other PII about a Recipient that is not necessary to preserve under financial regulations, Tango Card will comply with applicable law in connection with a Recipient request to delete such data.
Rectification. Recipients may request inaccuracies related to their PII be corrected. Upon request, we will provide a Recipient the identifying information that we have collected about them (provided that they have given proof of identity). This information can be requested by sending us an e-mail through the e-mail link provided below.
Transfer. We reserve the right to transfer all PII in our system in the event that Tango Card is sold, merged or otherwise assigned such that control rests with a different entity. We will ensure that any such transaction includes an agreement that will limit the collection, use and disclosure of PII to those purposes that relate to the transaction.
Cookies. Our Site uses “cookies” and similar technologies to collect and store information that is generated automatically as you use the Services, including your preferences and usage statistics. Most browsers allow you to manage cookies, including blocking and deleting them. If you block or delete our cookies, the Service may not work as well or at all for you.
Security. We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in an effort to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information provided to us.
We may process and transfer PII outside the United States in connection with providing the Service for our Enterprise Customers. If we process personal information of a Recipient located outside the United States, we require assurance from our customer that proper consent has been obtained for such purpose.
If our information practices change we will immediately post any adjustments to this Notice on this Site.
