Health and wellness is an important piece of work culture that many companies are investing time and money into in order to improve the quality of their employees’ lives. We spoke with a group of companies that focus on improving health and wellness in the workplace with digital rewards powered by Tango Card.
There are many ways to Tango. When asked how they work with Tango Card, we discovered that 30% of companies order through Rewards Genius through our web portal, 50% bulk order through Blast Rewards, 10% order a file of reward codes, and 40% are integrated with the RaaS API.
Prior to working with Tango Card, 20% of companies were not sending rewards, 10% were processing checks/deposits/disbursements themselves, 60% were purchasing physical rewards and fulfilling themselves, 20% were purchasing digital rewards and fulfilling themselves, and 20% were using another fulfillment partner.
We were interested to know what kind of challenges these companies faced prior to working with Tango Card. We found that 70% of companies found it took too long for rewards to be delivered, 70% spent a lot of time fulfilling rewards, 60% had a limited reward selection, 50% found that there were high costs/fees associated with fulfilling rewards, 30% struggled with tracking/handling lost rewards, 20% lacked support from their reward program provider, 20% had a reward selection that did not fit their program, and 10% lacked customer support for reward recipients.
When asked what kind of rewards were sent, 97% of companies said they send out gift cards, and 27% hand out nonprofit donations along with 30% sending out cash cards like PayPal, Visa and Bitcoin.
